Groovies is a content studio in Nepal as much as a classroom, so DJing here doesn't happen in isolation. You're surrounded by dancers, producers, and filmmakers. Want a clip of your first set for your socials? It can be shot and cut right here in Bafal. Learn on proper equipment, in a room built for sound.

Hands On
The Gear
Sessions run on the studio's own equipment, so you are not expected to arrive owning anything. Most people start with no gear and no theory, and the first session is spent on the two things everything else rests on: hearing the beat and holding the tempo. Nothing about that requires talent you either have or do not — it requires reps, and reps are what a booked session gives you.
Because classes run by appointment rather than on a fixed term timetable, the pace follows you. Someone preparing for a first gig and someone learning for their own enjoyment do not need the same six weeks, and they do not get them. Progress is measured by what you can do at the decks, not by how many weeks have elapsed.
Complete Beginners
Never touched a deck. You start at tempo and phrasing, and leave the first sessions able to hold a mix without it falling apart.
Self-Taught DJs
You can already mix, but the sets wander. This is where harmonic mixing and crate-building turn a playlist into a set with a shape.
Gig-Ready
Preparing for a real booking in Kathmandu. Crowd reading, energy management, and the stagecraft that separates a good set from a good DJ.
And because this is a working content studio rather than only a classroom, the first set you are proud of does not have to vanish. It can be filmed and cut in the same building, which is usually more useful to a promoter than a description of what you can do.
